Sovico Summit 2018 themed “At a new height” was recently held at Ariyana Smart Condotel in Nha Trang city – a luxurious resort under Sovico Holdings. The Condotel was put into operation in Q1/2018. The summit attracted participation of guests, representatives from divisions and companies under Sovico Holdings. Also, the summit gathered group’s BOM and BOD members with an endless spirit: A united place Northern, Central and Southern entities homing elites for a new height.

Overcome all challenges, the 2017 witnessed robust achievements of Sovico Holdings and its subsidiaries in local and international markets. Specifically, the Vietjet and HDBank performed successful listing on HOSE benefiting their shareholders. The shares of Vietjet and HDBank are among the most traded and bid ones.

In terms of business performance, Vietjet is regarded as a spotlight in private sector with its self-esteem capability. The airline conquered a numerous of market externalities like high fuel price to perform sustanible development in local and international aviation markets. In 2017, the airline carried 17.11 million passengers earing a revenue of VND 22,557 billion, an increase of 41.8% compared to 2016, 4.6% outpassed the year KPI. Simultenously, HDBank earned a profit of VND2,400 billion, a more than double of that in 2016.

Apart from aviation, finance and banking, Sovico Holdings also marked new development in 2017 in real estate and luxurious tourism. Notably, the on-time inauguration of Ariyana Danang International Convention to serve APEC 2017 won big applauses as the biggest conventional complex in Vietnam from local and international business communities.

Also, Phu Long real estate accomplished Splendora M&A, replaced Posco E&C to grasp 50% capital of An Khanh venture and became the main investor of Splendora Residence. Meanwhile, a series of other projects invested by Phu Long, Ariyana were successfully offered to market with high liquidity such as Dragon Village, Dragon Hill2, Republic Plaza, Ariyana Da Nang, etc.

Especially, Vietjet was granted the Third-grade Labor Medal by H.E Tran Dai Quang – President of Social Republic of Vietnam for its outstanding achievements in community-oriented activities, partially contributing to national construction and protection.

Speaking at the summit, Madam Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, Chairwoman and CEO appreciated reports and ideas by guest and representatives from the group and its subsidiaries.
