During an official mission to Ho Chi Minh City, the leadership of the UNESCO Office in Viet Nam visited and held a working meeting with SOVICO Group. The meeting was chaired by Doctor Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of the Group.
The two sides reviewed key cooperation results in 2025, particularly in the areas of culture, creativity, and youth engagement. They also exchanged views on priority directions for 2026, reaffirming a shared commitment to advancing the development of cultural and creative industries.

Both sides further expressed interest in expanding collaboration into emerging areas such as artificial intelligence (AI) and disaster risk reduction (DRR).

As part of the programme, the UNESCO delegation visited several representative entities within SOVICO’s ecosystem, including the headquarters of Vietjet Air, the Vietjet Aviation Academy, Galaxy Innovation Hub, and Saigon Marina IFC. These visits provided a comprehensive overview of the Group’s approach to innovation, high-quality human resource development, and strategic infrastructure investment.

UNESCO expressed its deep appreciation for the partnership with SOVICO, and acknowledged the Group’s strong and continued support for UNESCO initiatives in Viet Nam, particularly in hosting international events that promote cultural exchange, creativity, and sustainable development.

The visit contributes to reinforcing a shared vision between UNESCO and SOVICO in promoting inclusive development driven by innovation, while opening further opportunities for expanded and more effective cooperation in the future.
